22nd Biennial New Chaucer Society Congress, Durham 2020
Inside the TLC
The new Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) on South Road is a three-storey building, containing:
a large foyer and access to the lecture-theatres on the ground floor (level 0);
further access to the lecture-theatres, together with most of the teaching-rooms on the first floor (level 1);
and finally, on the top floor, a large circulation/social space.
Each of the teaching-rooms has a lectern equipped with a PC providing access to the displays. Delegates wishing to use a Powerpoint/Keynote presentation should either bring a memory stick (so that their file can be loaded directly onto the lectern PC) or (if they prefer) bring a laptop which can be attached to the AV system via a "flying VGA" cable. (In the latter case, Mac users will need to have the appropriate adapter.)
